Remote Learning Overview

Remote Learning Provision Cardinham
Our Reception children spend a greater amount of time at school learning through play within The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. We have uploaded two documents (see below) to assist the parents of Reception children. Although we will upload weekly activities, feel free to direct your Reception child’s learning through their interests and work towards the Early Learning Goals. We would love to see what you are doing through Class Dojo or your Tapestry account.

There is no expectation to print out any of the sheets that we have uploaded. Each one can be downloaded and then accessed from a PC or laptop screen – please think about the environment before printing anything out. If you would like a printed pack, please contact the school office or your child’s teacher.

We are still committed to the well-being, health and education of your child(ren). If you have any questions during the week, please feel free to email your child’s class teacher during normal school hours.

We are encouraging participation in virtual meetings via Zoom within your child’s class group. Please call or email your child’s teacher for details on this.

In addition to this, we will carry out virtual “live” lessons. Please click below for our teacher guidance on virtual lessons.
Subscriptions:

As a school / Trust we subscribe to the following learning tools. Your child should already have a user name or password for these. If you need a reminder, please contact your child’s teacher during normal school hours.

Bug Club includes our reading programme, and some maths games. Your child’s teacher will monitor progress in reading via the teacher’s login and is able to ensure you have a plentiful supply of reading.

Times tables remain as important as ever! This site is available to pupils from Years 1 to Years 6. Please ask your child’s teacher if you cannot remember your login.

Numbots is available to all pupils from EYFS and upwards. Please ask your child’s teacher if you cannot remember your login.

Nessy Reading and Spelling is available for all children in Years 4, 5 and 6.
